Terms and Conditions of the NeuroSplice K-Series Volunteer Program

ARTICLE 7

Nature of the data collected

The subject acknowledges that, throughout the program and without any time restriction, the device records cortical activity, raw dream streams, associated physiological parameters, and environmental metadata. The raw streams constitute research data within the meaning of protocol NSK-2024-07.

ARTICLE 8

License

The subject grants Hyperdream France a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to exploit the streams mentioned in Article 7, for any purpose of research, model training, or commercial demonstration. This license includes the right to sublicense to industrial partners.

With regard to the sequences, atmospheres, emotional textures, and narrative motifs extracted from the subject’s streams: ownership thereof vests in Hyperdream France upon their generation.

ARTICLE 12

Anonymization

Anonymization is carried out by aggregation. The subject is informed that a sufficiently singular dream sequence may remain identifiable and accepts this residual risk.

ARTICLE 14

Term

The license is granted for the duration of the protection of the rights and survives the interruption of the program, the withdrawal of the subject, the subject’s incapacity, and the subject’s death.

ARTICLE 17

Withdrawal

The subject may at any time request that recordings be stopped and that the device be explanted, subject to a favorable surgical opinion. Withdrawal does not extend to streams already collected, to derivative content, or to models already trained.

ARTICLE 19

Complications

In the event of a complication of the protocol, the subject consents to the removal and study of the tissue necessary for the analysis of the incident, including after death, as well as to the retention of the device by the sponsor.

ARTICLE 23

Confidentiality

The subject shall not disclose to third parties, including family members, any information relating to the operation of the device, the incidents observed, or the content injected.
